CustomPAK Management
A safe and convenient medication packaging system that gives you comfort in knowing that you are taking the right medication at the right time. We package your daily prescriptions, including vitamins, and supplements into individual pouches that are then combined on a roll(s) called a CustomPAK. Each pouch is marked with a date and time so all you need to do is tear off the pouch, rip it open, and take your medications.
We will contact all of your providers and get the necessary information regarding your prescriptions and refills, synchronizing all of your medications regardless of prescriber.
We use a combination of phone calls, faxes and e-scribing to get in contact with your provider(s).
Most of the time–nothing at all! We collaborate with your provider(s) and insurance to be sure you have sufficient refills even before your CustomPAK is packaged. If it is ever required by your provider or insurance for an additional action–such as a visit to the provider’s office, we will communicate that to you clearly and in a timely manner.
CustomPAK accepts most major insurance plans, including most Medicare Part D plans and Medicaid. Please contact us with any questions regarding coverage and insurance compatibility.
Your copays will most likely stay the same as any 30-day fill from any retail pharmacy.
You may have a credit or debit card on file with us to charge on the day of delivery or to be charged on the third of each month. Alternately, we can set up an account for your bill to be mailed to you monthly. Cash or check payments are also accepted upon delivery.
Absolutely not! After sign-up, we will contact your previous pharmacy and transfer all of your prescriptions. When/if refills are needed, we will contact your provider.
CustomPAK operates like any pharmacy–providing you with ointments, creams, liquids, inhalers, nebulizers, diabetes testing equipment, and anything else you may need. These items will be packaged with your prescription(s).
Sure! Your daily vitamins, minerals, and supplements can be packaged with your prescriptions.
We can customize how often a pack is done for you based on your preference. Your start date will be determined during the sign-up process. You will receive your first CustomPAK approximately 2-5 days prior to that date and will then receive a new PAK every 30 days. Delivery is always before the start date as long as you are home to accept the delivery.
Most deliveries are same-day. If a new order comes late in the day, the delivery will be guaranteed for the next day.
No need to worry if your medication changes. If the change is needed immediately, we can provide you with enough of your medication to get you through to your next refill. If not urgent, we can wait and start your new medication in your next PAK to avoid confusion.
Any medication that you take on an as-needed basis will be dispensed in a standard prescription bottle. If you find yourself taking an as-needed medication on a regular basis, one of our pharmacists will work with you and your provider to decide if a CustomPAK system is a better option for that medication.
